MuxCLI
GitHub App Store

Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 29, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the MuxCLI website and iOS app. MuxCLI is a self-hosted server product with an iOS app client that connects to servers you manage.

What we do and do not collect

  • We do not collect personal data from the website or iOS app in the ordinary course of use.
  • We do not collect or inspect the content of your server data or sessions on either side of the connection.
  • We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or device-level telemetry from the app or website.
  • The only personal data we may receive is Apple-provided crash diagnostics or logs made available through Apple tooling.

How Apple diagnostics are used

If Apple makes crash diagnostics or logs available to us through Apple tooling, we use them to investigate crashes, stability issues, and app reliability. Apple may process that data under its own terms and policies before it becomes available to us.

Self-hosted control

Data that lives on your own server remains under your control. MuxCLI does not claim ownership of that data, and we do not control how you configure, store, secure, back up, or delete it on your infrastructure.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data except as required to receive Apple-provided crash diagnostics or logs, or as needed to comply with applicable law.

Retention and deletion

Apple-provided crash diagnostics or logs are retained according to Apple’s tooling, retention, and platform policies. We do not maintain a separate personal-data store for ordinary website or app usage data.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Internet-connected services can be affected by misconfiguration, device compromise, server-side issues, or network interception. You are responsible for protecting your device, accounts, server environment, and network exposure.

Children

MuxCLI is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided personal data through MuxCLI, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date.
